This rotor boasts a high-intensity rare earth magnet system encased within a non-metallic rotor shell. As the rotor spins at high speeds, it generates eddy currents within conducting metals, creating a magnetic field that opposes that of the rotor. This repulsion effectively separates non-ferrous metals from the remaining materials, which freely fall over the rotor.
